Overall, a BRM resource should have a strong technical background combined with business acumen and good communication skills to effectively work with the Oracle BRM system. Some of the key skills that would be required for a BRM resource include:

- Knowledge of Subscriptions and billing
- In-depth understanding of Oracle BRM architecture and administration and be able to install, configure, and maintain the system.
- Strong Linux and Programming and scripting language skills of C, Java, Perl, and Shell scripting.
- Strong database management skills, including SQL query writing, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including business users, developers, and management, to ensure successful BRM implementations and maintenance.
- Expert knowledge of BRM modules of pricing and discounting, rating, invoicing.
