Hiring Network & Security Administrator for permanent job type

Location: Faridabad | WFO

Experience: 3+ years

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Monitoring, configuring, and maintaining existing networks and making upgrades where required
- Network planning and adopting appropriate network protection solutions
- Ensuring network security & connectivity
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
- Liaising with third party vendors
- Troubleshooting network issues or outages
- Providing technical support to end users
- Installing, administering, and troubleshooting network security solutions.
- Updating software with the latest security patches and ensuring the proper defences are present for each network resource.
- Performing vulnerability and penetration tests, identifying, and defending against threats, and developing disaster recovery plans.
- Monitoring network traffic for suspicious behaviour.
- Creating network policies and authorization roles and defending against unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction.
- Configuring and supporting security tools, such as firewalls and anti-virus software.
- Liaising with third party vendors

**4. REQUIREMENTS**:

- You possess a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- You have prior experience in a network administrator role
- Hands on experience with networking, routing and switching
- You possess experience with Load Balancers, Firewalls, VPN, LAN, WAN, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
- Understanding of Layer 2 and 3 network infrastructure
- You possess good analytical & problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with end users
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- CISSP, CCNA/CCNP Certification
- Cyber Security related Certification referred.
- 3+ years exp in network administration role.
- Previous experience with Microsoft server 2012, 2016 and 2019 preferred.
- Previous exp with Cisco Switches and routers preferred.
- MCSE certification is a plus.

**Salary**: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year

- Morning shift

- Faridabad, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Network administrator: 3 years (preferred)
- Hands on experience with networking, routing and switching: 3 years (preferred)
- Understanding of Layer 2 and 3 network infrastructure: 3 years (preferred)
- Microsoft server 2012, 2016 and 2019: 3 years (preferred)
- Cisco Switches and routers: 3 years (preferred)
