Solid hands-on experience and demonstrated skills in Virtualization, Orchestration and Private Cloud.

**Preferred Skills**: Must be a Subject Matter Expert in the following.
- VMWare vSphere Suite (ESXi and vCenter)
- VMWare vCloud Director (vCD)
- VMware vRealize Suite (vROPS, vRA, vCloud Usage meter)
- Basic Networking, NSX-V, NSX-T, vRLI, vRNI
- vSAN
- VMWare SRM (Site Recovery Manager)
- Manage the day-to-day administration
- Performance and capacity management projections
- Plan and engineer expansion of converged infrastructure
- Provide guidance for virtualization best practices
- Design enterprise level virtual technologies
- Provide virtual platform system technical performance and availability recommendations
- Participate in the design and support of all backend infrastructure components for the virtual environment

**Desired Skills**:

- OEM Bare metal Servers (Rackmount, Blade and HCI)
- OEM Bare Metal Storage Systems (FC-SAN, iSCSI and NAS)
- SAN, Storage Area Network (Virtual connect or Fabric Interconnect)
- Experience with VMware vCenter design and implementation best practices
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience with VMWare technologies
- Good grasp of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Thorough knowledge of setting up BCP different technologies such as Zerto, SRM etc.
- Understanding of virtual environments with respect to proactive performance analysis and identification of potential bottlenecks
- Ability to administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS)
- Ability to collaborate with a team working across multiple locations
- Experience with building and maintaining high-availability (>99%) VMware environments
- Thorough knowledge of Active Directory
- Extensive Virtualization Experience - design, implement, and manage virtual environments, including Datacentre cluster(s) managed by vCenter
- Demonstrated experience in virtualization and consolidation of server technologies
