**Sales Administrator for a Tourism Company in Kaloor, Cochin, Kerala**
Position Overview: As a Sales Administrator for a tourism company in Kerala, your primary responsibility will be to support the sales team in achieving their targets by providing efficient administrative assistance and ensuring smooth sales operations. You will play a crucial role in coordinating with various stakeholders, managing customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask will contribute to the overall success of the sales department.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Administrative Support:Assist the sales team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including preparing sales reports, managing correspondence, and maintaining documentation.
Manage the scheduling and coordination of meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the sales team.
Organize and maintain sales-related databases, CRM systems, and other records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
**Sales Coordination**:
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth communication and coordination between different departments, such as marketing, operations, and finance.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
- Monitor and track sales activities, such as leads, opportunities, and conversions, and provide regular reports to the sales team and management.
Support the sales team in meeting their targets by assisting with lead generation, prospecting, and follow-up activities.
**Customer Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their queries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Assist in managing customer bookings, reservations, and cancellations, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of customer requests and resolve any issues or complaints that may arise.
**Market Research and Analysis**:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitors' activities.
- Stay updated with industry developments, tourism products, and services to provide accurate information to customers and support the sales team's efforts.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Any degree in business administration, hospitality, tourism, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an administrative or sales support role, preferably in the tourism industry.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with mínimal supervision.
- Knowledge of the tourism industry in Kerala, including popular destinations, attractions, and services, is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English and Malayalam is essential. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Pay: ₹8,873.10 - ₹28,781.55 per month
Day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
