**Job Summary**:

- **Effluent and Sewage Treatment**:

- Operate and monitor the ETP and STP systems to treat raw water, effluent, and sewage.
- Control and adjust valves, pumps, and other equipment to regulate water and waste treatment processes.
- Ensure proper chemical dosing, filtration, and biological treatment processes are in place.
- **Monitoring & Troubleshooting**:

- Regularly inspect plant equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.
- Identify and troubleshoot any malfunctions or operational issues, making necessary adjustments or notifying supervisors for repairs.
- Record and report data related to plant performance, such as flow rates, chemical usage, and treatment quality.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Follow all safety procedures and protocols for handling chemicals and operating plant equipment.
- Maintain a safe work environment for the team and visitors, complying with environmental health and safety standards.
- **Maintenance & Cleaning**:

- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the plant’s equipment, pumps, tanks, and filtration systems.
- Ensure all necessary repairs are conducted in a timely manner and that all systems are working at optimal capacity.
- **Quality Control**:

- Collect and analyze water and wastewater samples regularly to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Ensure treated water meets regulatory standards before discharge or reuse.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, water quality parameters, and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and submit routine reports to the supervisory team or regulatory authorities as required.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical certifications or training in water or wastewater treatment preferred.
- **Experience**: Proven experience in operating ETP and STP plants or related water treatment facilities is highly desirable.
- **Skills**:

- Knowledge of water treatment processes, effluent standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and working in various environmental conditions.

**Work Environment**:

- Typically work in a facility that operates 24/7, which may require shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Work in environments where exposure to chemicals, odors, and outdoor conditions may occur.
