Overview:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement solutions in Duck Creek Reinsurance (treaty, facultative, bordereaux, retrocession).
- Configure and customise reinsurance workflows, rules, and product definitions.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
- Work on integration with policy administration, claims, and billing systems (Duck Creek Suite or third-party systems).
- Develop reinsurance bordereaux reporting, ceded premium, and claims calculations.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing reinsurance configurations and code.
- Perform unit testing, defect fixing, and support for UAT.
- Ensure compliance with best practices, coding standards, and industry guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BA, QA, architects, offshore/onshore teams) in an Agile/SAFe environment.

**Requirements**:

- Hands-on development experience in the Duck Creek Reinsurance module (minimum 2-3 years).
- Strong knowledge of reinsurance concepts - treaty, facultative, cession, retrocession, bordereaux.
- Experience in Duck Creek Author, Express, and XML configurations.
- Proficiency in C#,.NET, XML, and SQL Server.
- Knowledge of the insurance domain (P&C, Reinsurance workflows).
- Experience with Agile methodology and DevOps tools (Jira, Git, Azure DevOps preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
