Job Description: Garment Sales Executive (Showroom Sales)
Position Overview: The Garment Sales Executive (Showroom Sales) is responsible for promoting and selling garments in a showroom setting. They are the frontline representatives of the company and play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. The Sales Executive will actively engage with potential buyers, showcase the available garment collections, and assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement: Greet and welcome customers as they enter the showroom. Engage in friendly and professional conversations to understand their needs and preferences. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
Product Presentation: Display garments in an appealing manner to attract customers' attention. Keep the showroom well-organized and ensure all merchandise is correctly labeled and priced.
Sales and Target Achievement: Actively pursue sales targets set by the management. Employ persuasive selling techniques to encourage customers to make purchases. Upsell and cross-sell relevant items to increase sales revenue.
Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the garment collections, including their features, benefits, and materials. Be prepared to answer customers' questions and provide detailed information about the products.
Customer Support: Assist customers in selecting garments that suit their body type, style preferences, and occasion. Provide honest and personalized advice to help customers make satisfying choices.
Order Processing: Facilitate the sales process from start to finish, including processing payments, issuing invoices, and arranging for garment alterations or delivery, if required.
Stock Management: Monitor the inventory levels in the showroom and inform the management about low stock situations. Participate in stock replenishment and maintain appropriate stock levels.
Stay Updated on Fashion Trends: Keep up with the latest fashion trends and garment industry developments to be able to provide up-to-date advice and suggestions to customers.
Customer Feedback: Solicit and gather customer feedback on their shopping experience. Act upon any complaints or suggestions to improve customer satisfaction and showroom operations.
Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the showroom team, including other sales executives and management, to achieve overall sales goals and maintain a harmonious work environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in fashion or retail management is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the garment or fashion industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- A good eye for fashion and trends.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and calculations.
- Proficiency in using computer software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
- Well-groomed and presentable appearance.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per the showroom's schedule.
**Job Type**: Regular / Permanent
**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
