**Position Purchase Executive**

**Basics Any UG / PG with CIVIL purchase background**

**Experience 2 - 4 Years (In the same purchase domain**

**Workstation Head Office - Navalur, Chennai.**

**Working Days : 5 Days**

**Objective**:
**Purchasing Officer to procure products that are essential for the company’s day-to-day operations. You will have to review prices, quality & quantity and ensure optimal stock levels.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Purchasing Officer responsibilities include evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts and preparing reports (e.g.on orders and costs.)
- Research potential vendors
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Review quality of purchased products
- Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
- Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends

**Skills & Knowledge**
- Proven work experience / record as a Purchasing Officer.
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
- Hands-on experience with purchasing software (Tally, Oracle, etc,)
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
- Negotiation skills
- Understanding of entire supply chain procedures

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
