Gastroenterologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gastroenterologist to diagnose and treat disorders of the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder. The role involves conducting diagnostic procedures, performing endoscopic interventions, and developing effective treatment plans for patients with gastrointestinal (GI) disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnosis & Treatment:
Evaluate and diagnose digestive disorders such as GERD, IBS, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, liver cirrhosis, pancreatitis, and GI cancers.
Prescribe medications and recommend dietary/lifestyle modifications.
Procedures & Interventions:
Perform endoscopic procedures including upper GI endoscopy (OGD), colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, ERCP, capsule endoscopy, and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS).
Conduct liver biopsies, polypectomies, and stent placements when required.
Manage GI bleeding, strictures, and other emergencies.
Collaboration & Consultation:
Work closely with hepatologists, oncologists, radiologists, and dietitians to provide holistic patient care.
Offer second opinions and expert guidance on complex GI cases.
Research & Education (Optional):
Participate in clinical research, medical education, and training programs in gastroenterology.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in gastroenterology and hepatology.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate patient records, diagnostic reports, and treatment plans.
Ensure adherence to National Medical Commission (NMC) and hospital regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: MBBS with MD/DNB in General Medicine, followed by a DM/DNB in Gastroenterology (3 years).
License: Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and relevant state medical councils.

**Skills**:Expertise in endoscopic and interventional gastroenterology.
Strong diagnostic and decision-making abilities.
Excellent patient communication and counseling skills.
Ability to handle emergencies such as GI bleeding and liver failure.

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
