**Position: Store Keeper at Pharmacy Institute**

**Location: Vathar tarf Vadgaon**

**Requisites**:
**Education**:

- Minimum 12th Pass or Diploma in Store Management / Inventory Control.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in inventory/storekeeping, preferably in an educational or pharmaceutical institution.

**Skills**:

- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical materials and laboratory chemicals.
- Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word) and inventory software.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of safety and storage norms for chemicals.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate records of stock levels for chemicals, lab materials, medicines, glassware, instruments, and other educational supplies.
- Conduct regular stock verification and audits to prevent loss, misuse, or expiry of materials.
- Ensure proper labeling and organization of items for easy identification and retrieval.

**2. Receiving & Issuing Materials**:

- Receive incoming supplies and verify their quantity and quality against purchase orders.
- Issue materials to faculty, students, and lab assistants as per requirement, following proper documentation procedures.
- Maintain a register/log for items issued and returned.

**3. Storage & Safety**:

- Ensure safe storage of hazardous chemicals and controlled substances in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the store area.
- Monitor expiry dates and segregate expired/damaged items as per institute guidelines.

**4. Record Keeping & Documentation**:

- Maintain up-to-date records of all inventory transactions (manual or through inventory software).
- Prepare stock reports, usage reports, and requisition summaries for management review.
- Assist in preparing budgets for lab materials and supply procurement based on consumption trends.

**5. Coordination & Procurement**:

- Coordinate with faculty and lab staff to understand material requirements.
- Liaise with vendors/suppliers for purchase and timely delivery of materials.
- Assist in procurement procedures, including quotation collection and follow-ups.
