**JD for Video Creator + Animator** Looking for a "Video Creator + Animator", creative professional responsible for developing engaging video content, animated video content, combining strong animation & editing skills with an understanding of storytelling and visual design to create compelling videos for various platforms, including marketing campaigns, explainer videos, social media content, and branded visuals, often requiring the ability to conceptualize ideas, storyboard, design characters, animate sequences, and edit the final product using animation software. **Key Responsibilities**: - **Concept Development**: Brainstorm and develop creative concepts for video content aligned with brand guidelines and target audience. - **Storyboarding**: Translate concepts into detailed storyboards, outlining key visuals and animation sequences. - **Character Design**: Design and illustrate unique characters and assets for animation, ensuring visual consistency. - **Animation Production**: - **Create 2D or 3D animations using animation software like Adobe** **Animate, Blender, or Maya.** **Animate character movements, expressions, and interactions with** **a focus on storytelling.** - **Design and animate background elements and environments.** **Video Editing**: Assemble animated sequences, incorporate sound effects, music, and voiceovers to create a polished final product. - **Collaboration**: Work closely with marketing teams, designers, and project managers to ensure video content aligns with overall campaign objectives. - **Stay Updated**: Keep abreast of emerging animation trends, technologies, and industry best practices. **Required Skills**: - **Animation Proficiency**: Expert knowledge of animation principles and techniques in both 2D and 3D animation software. - **Visual Design Skills**: Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling. - **Storytelling Ability**: Capability to craft compelling narratives with engaging pacing and character development. - **Creative Thinking**: Ability to generate innovative and visually appealing animation concepts. - **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro) and animation tools. - **Communication Skills**: Effective communication to collaborate with stakeholders and clearly convey creative ideas. **Potential Job Titles**: Video Animator, Motion Graphic Designer, Animated Content Creator, Explainer Video Animator, and Character Animator.
