A Driver must maintain their vehicle in good condition, keeping it clean and conducting regular maintenance to ensure it runs smoothly. They are usually required to follow a set route and schedule but must also be able to adapt to changes as needed. Drivers must prioritise the safety of themselves and their passengers, ensuring all safety measures are in place.

A Driver needs various skills and qualifications to succeed at their job.
- Safely operating the vehicle in compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of traffic rules and regulations.
- Planning routes and following a schedule to ensure timely delivery or arrival.
- Sound judgement and decision making.
- Excellent diving skills.
- Conducting regular vehicle maintenance checks and reporting any issues.
- Keeping the vehicle clean and presentable.
- Proficiency in using navigational software to map routes.
- Ensuring that all required documentation, such as a driver's license and insurance, are up to date and valid.
- Time management and organisational skills
- Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
