**Job Title**: Fire Extinguisher Refilling Technician

**Job Summary**: The Fire Extinguisher Refilling Technician is responsible for inspecting, servicing, and refilling fire extinguishers in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. This role ensures that all fire safety equipment is in optimal working condition, meeting local, state, and federal regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inspection**: Conduct routine inspections of fire extinguishers, checking for visible damage, pressure, and functionality.
- **Refilling**: Recharge or refill fire extinguishers that have been discharged or are nearing the end of their service life.
- **Maintenance**: Perform necessary maintenance tasks, such as replacing hoses, seals, or nozzles, to ensure fire extinguishers are in working order.
- **Compliance**: Ensure that all fire extinguishers comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including fire safety codes and standards (e.g., NFPA standards).
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of inspections, refills, and any maintenance or repairs performed.
- **Safety Checks**: Test fire extinguishers after refilling to confirm that they are functioning properly.
- **Customer Service**: Communicate effectively with clients to explain the importance of regular fire extinguisher maintenance and refilling.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor and maintain an inventory of fire extinguisher supplies and equipment, including different types of extinguishing agents.
- **Emergency Response**: In some cases, be available to respond to emergency service calls to handle issues with extinguishers at clients' locations.
- **Training**: Occasionally assist in training clients or employees on how to properly use fire extinguishers.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of fire extinguisher types, components, and operation.
- Familiarity with fire safety standards and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to use tools and equipment necessary for fire extinguisher maintenance and refilling.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and provide service.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy fire extinguishers.
- Certification in fire extinguisher servicing or related fire safety qualifications (e.g., National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) certification) is preferred.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in fire extinguisher servicing, maintenance, or related fields is preferred but not required.

**Working Conditions**:

- The role may require traveling to various customer sites, including residential, commercial, and industrial locations.
- Technicians may be required to work in a variety of conditions, including confined spaces, high altitudes, and exposure to hazardous materials during servicing.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
