**Job Summary**:
The Eye Counsellor plays a crucial role in guiding patients through the process of diagnosis, treatment, and surgical procedures related to eye care. This position requires a compassionate, well-informed individual who can clearly explain eye conditions, procedures (like cataract or LASIK surgery), and post-operative care to patients and their families.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Educate patients on various eye conditions, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Assist patients in understanding the need for surgery or treatment as advised by the ophthalmologist.
- Guide patients through the treatment and surgical scheduling process.
- Provide pre
- and post-operative counselling and instructions.
- Address patient concerns with empathy and clarity.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and counselling notes.
- Support in the coordination of community outreach eye camps or screening events.
- Collaborate with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and administrative staff for holistic patient care.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- qualification : optometry
- Certification in patient counselling or ophthalmic assistant training is a plus.
- 2+years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or eye care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to speak local languages is highly desirable.
- Basic knowledge of eye conditions like cataract, glaucoma, refractive errors, etc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
