This is a remote position.

As an Intern on the CPU Design, you will get to interact with passionate individuals building the next generation of industry-leading CPUs based on the RISC-V architecture. InCore's strategy is focused on building highly configurable, customizable and extensible CPU cores using modern open-source technologies and is thus looking for people with similar enthusiasm.

**What will you work on**:
As an intern you will be broadly working in of the following primary verticals:

- Enhancements to existing CPU cores for performance, power, area and/or configurability.
- Developing un-core IPs like interrupt controller, interconnect fabrics, communication IPs, SoC components, etc.
- Automating 3rd party flows for our CPUs like : FPGA synthesis, ASIC synthesis, Physical design, CI, etc.

**What You Will Learn**:
You will work on real projects, mentored by expert engineers, and your work will directly influence the development of our leading edge hardware IP. This internship is aimed at developing your potential and expanding your knowledge. You’ll have the opportunity to learn one or more of the following:

- State-of-the-art CPU micro-architecture
- Best practices in RTL design and verification
- Engineering process that brings a concept from specification to hardware IP

**Requirements**:

- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master's or PhD program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Programming language experience (functional programming is a plus).
- Knowledge of Python is bonus
- Knowledgeable about computer architecture and micro-architecture concepts
- Knowledge of RISC-V architecture is a plus.
- Understanding of RTL design.
- **Ability to work 40 hours per week for a minimum of 12-weeks
