Store Keeper

**Storage and Organization**:

- Organize and store goods in an orderly manner to optimize space and accessibility.
- Label goods with proper identification for easy retrieval.

**Dispatching Goods**:

- Prepare and pack orders for dispatch according to customer requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of goods to customers or other departments.
- Coordinate with transport and logistics providers for shipment pickups.

**Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

**Equipment Maintenance**:

- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of goods received, stored, and dispatched physically as well on the software.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels and warehouse activities.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic inventory audits.

**Receiving Goods**:

- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Verify quantity and quality of goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Unload goods using appropriate equipment and store them in designated areas.

**Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excesses.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience of 5 to 8 years as a storekeeper, warehouse clerk, or similar role.
- **Skills**:

- Adaptability in using software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- **Other Requirements**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
