- Conducting keyword research to identify high-traffic and relevant keywords for optimization.
- Developing on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website rankings.
- Monitoring and analyzing SEO performance using analytics tools and making data-driven recommendations.
- **On-Page Optimization**:
- Optimizing website content, meta descriptions, title tags, header tags, and images for SEO.
- Ensuring content is aligned with SEO best practices and targeting relevant search queries.
- Implementing internal linking strategies to enhance website navigation and user experience.
- **Off-Page SEO**:
- Building high-quality backlinks to improve domain authority.
- Engaging in outreach campaigns to secure backlinks from reputable sites and platforms.
- Managing online reputation and monitoring brand mentions across the web.
- **Content Creation & Optimization**:
- Collaborating with content creators to ensure SEO-friendly blog posts, articles, and web pages.
- Optimizing existing content to improve its search engine ranking.
- Keeping track of trending topics and implementing SEO strategies that align with the latest digital marketing trends.
- **Website Analysis and Reporting**:
- Conducting regular audits of the website for SEO health (e.g., site speed, mobile-friendliness, technical SEO issues).
- Analyzing organic search performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs.
- Preparing monthly or weekly performance reports, highlighting key SEO metrics such as traffic, rankings, and conversions.
- **Technical SEO**:
- Identifying and addressing technical SEO issues like broken links, duplicate content, and crawl errors.
- Ensuring proper website indexing and optimization for search engine crawlers.
- Improving website loading speed and mobile optimization.
- **Local SEO**:
- Managing and optimizing Google My Business profiles and other local listings.
- Ensuring local keywords are targeted and improving search rankings for location-based searches.
- **Keeping Up-to-Date with SEO Trends**:
- Staying current on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
- Attending workshops, webinars, and conferences to further knowledge and skills.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- **Educational Background**: A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- **Experience**: 1-2 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or content management.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.
- **Knowledge of SEO Best Practices**: Strong understanding of on-page and off-page SEO techniques, keyword research, and link-building.
- **Content Skills**: Ability to write and optimize content with SEO in mind.
- **Analytical Skills**: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make decisions based on insights.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with teams and reporting to management.
**Additional Skills** (preferred):
- Experience with website platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS.
- Familiarity with paid search strategies (Google Ads, PPC).
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or basic web development is a plus.
**Work Environment**:
- **Location**: Flexible (Office-based or remote, depending on the company).
- **Hours**: Full-time, Monday to Friday.
