Polymer team - Associate Content Editor

This is an exciting opportunity for chemistry/polymer graduates to join and be a part of the global team of the “Derwent Innovation” product which caters to innovators and researchers. We are looking for Associate content Editor to join our Polymer team under IP indexing in Chennai/Hyderabad.

About you
- Masters in Polymer science/ chemistry/Organic chemistry/Physical Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Inorganic Chemistry (M.Sc.,) OR M.Tech/B.Tech in Polymer technology.
- 0-2 years of experience in analysing patents & preferably having sound knowledge in Polymer, chemistry which includes chemical nomenclature, reactions, formulae, inorganic chemistry, catalysts, additives, and their functions. Experience in chemical drawing packages, e.g. ISIS Draw
- 0-2 years of experience in Chemistry/Polymer related field (can be teaching/non-teaching)

What will you be doing in this role
- You will follow prescribed indexing policies and procedures to curate the data and ensure to meet volume and quality targets.

About the team

The content indexed and curated by the Polymer team will be available in our database “Derwent Innovation” and in STN. Other than supporting in content curation for our product, the team also makes a big change to the customers whose research is dependent on the patents that are available in “Derwent Innovation”. The team is spread across Chennai & Hyderabad.

Hours of Work: 45 hrs/week

9 AM to 6 PM IST (Mon to Fri)
