We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate OPD (Outpatient Department) Assistant to join our healthcare team. The OPD Assistant will support the smooth functioning of the outpatient department, ensuring excellent patient care and efficient operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Patient Assistance**: Assist patients with registration, appointment scheduling, and directions within the facility.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of patient details, appointments, and medical reports.
- **Support to Medical Staff**: Help doctors and nurses with administrative tasks, including arranging medical files and reports.
- **Patient Management**: Ensure proper queue management and timely flow of patients during consultations.
- **General Housekeeping**: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the OPD area.
- **Customer Service**: Address patient inquiries and provide a comforting and empathetic environment for them.
- **Equipment Handling**: Assist in managing basic medical equipment and supplies, ensuring availability when needed.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare-related certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinic setting (preferred).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer usage for patient data entry.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and service-oriented attitude.
