The India Country Office submits each year on average over 30 donor reports, with equal and growing numbers of donor proposals in light of the push towards fundraising. This position was approved as part of the recent PBR and will provide critical support in the following areas: i) Streamlining of office-wide systems and capacity development around donor proposals and reports; ii) development and finalization of donor proposals and reports; and iii) support to donor retention through ensuring donor feedback mechanisms.

Under supervision within the Managing for Results (M4R) section and in collaboration with the Partnership Manager in the Resource Mobilization & Partnerships unit, the incumbent will be responsible for donor proposals and donor reports in the India Country Office**.**

**Key Functions, Accountabilities, And Related Duties/Tasks**:
In collaboration with the programme section and the resources mobilization team the incumbent may be assigned the primary, shared, or contributory accountabilities for all or part of the following areas of major duties.

**Streamlining of office-wide systems and capacity development around donor proposals and reports**:

- Support to the roll-out of the SoPs for donor proposals, and reporting, highlighting workflows and roles and responsibilities;
- Elaborate donor proposal and reporting templates for different donor types, including pre-populating templates for different programme areas;
- Review existing donor reporting assessments to identify areas of weaknesses/ challenges to be addressed;
- Undertake new donor reporting reviews/assessments as appropriate;
- Support compliance to conditionalities agreed with donors and a donor reporting feedback mechanism;
- Provide hands-on support to ICO staff in the development of donor reports and proposals for multi-year and longstanding donors;
- Orient ICO on Donor Reporting platforms, including Fiori and INSIGHT.

**Support to development and finalization of donor proposals and reports**:

- Editing and quality assurance on fundraising proposals in line with the overall Resource Mobilization Strategy, including compilation of information, editing and layout when necessary, and adherence to set standards and templates;
- Compile, edit, and quality assure donor reports in line with donor conditions and original proposals, including liaison with the budget team to ensure accurate financial reporting and linkages to narratives; This also includes UNICEF reports such as annual thematic reports as well as donor-specific reporting;
- Liaise with communication team to ensure inclusion of human interest material in donor proposals and reports.
- Monitor and track donor proposal pipeline and ensure timely quality assurance of donor proposal in close collaboration with programme sections and Resource Mobilization team;
- Ensure quality assurance on fundraising proposals in line with the overall Resource Mobilization Strategy and Donor Engagement SOP, including the compilation of information and adherence to set standards and templates
- Monitor and track donor reporting schedule and ensure timely coordination, quality assurance, and submissions of donor reports in Fiori tracker;
- Update the Donor Reports Tracker, in collaboration with RMP;
- Provide timely guidance to programme sections on upcoming donor reports, including setting realistic internal deadlines, identifying the correct reporting template, elaborating on donor conditionalities, and addressing any challenges faced or questions by programme sections.
