**Position Overview**:
The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day clinical operations of the hospital, managing patient care, and supporting consultants and specialists in delivering high-quality medical services. The RMO plays a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of patients and supporting the medical staff in emergencies and routine care.\
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Patient Care**:
- Attend to admitted patients, perform rounds, and monitor their condition regularly.
- Record and update patient history, examination findings, and progress notes in the hospital system.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, including performing lifesaving procedures like CPR when necessary.
- **Coordination with Consultants**:
- Assist specialists and consultants during procedures, treatments, and surgeries as required.
- Ensure effective communication between consultants and the nursing team for optimal patient care.
- **Emergency Management**:
- Manage acute medical cases in the absence of consultants until they arrive.
- Be available on-call to address emergency situations within the hospital premises.
- **Administrative Duties**:
- Ensure that all medical documentation, including discharge summaries, is completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain proper records of patient care in line with hospital policies and legal requirements.
- **Supervision and Training**:
- Supervise the nursing and paramedical staff to ensure they follow proper protocols.
- Provide basic clinical training and mentorship to junior medical staff and interns if applicable.
- **Compliance and Protocols**:
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in dealing with patient information.
**Required Qualifications and Skills**:
- **Education**: MBBS from a recognized university; registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) is mandatory.
- **Experience**: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting (freshers with a strong academic background may also be considered).
- **Skills**:
- Proficient in diagnosing and managing medical conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of hospital management systems and processes.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
