Pepper Content is building a global content marketplace that brings companies and content creators together to scale up content creation processes across 75+ content verticals and 150+ content categories. Over the past 5 years, over 100,000+ freelance content creators have applied to be part of the Pepper network of which we work with the top 5% talent, and on the other end - we work with over 2500+ customers like Amazon, Adobe, Google, HDFC Bank, Adani, and majority of the startup ecosystem. We are building a global on-demand content marketplace platform that stitches together content planning, creation, distribution and measurement.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Category Intern to join our team. As a Category Intern, you will be responsible for assisting our Category Manager in various tasks related to product management, market research, and vendor management. You will gain practical experience in the field of product development and management, and have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams.
**At Pepper Content, you will**:
Assist the Category Manager in product research and development, including market trends, competitor analysis, and consumer insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the execution of product development plans, including design, packaging, pricing, and launch.
Manage product data and information in various systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support vendor management by communicating with suppliers, maintaining vendor records, and assisting with negotiations.
Attend meetings with the Category Manager and take notes, follow up on action items, and provide updates as needed.
Assist with other duties as assigned by the Category Manager.
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Interest in product development and management.
This is a full-time internship position. The duration of the internship is currently for 3 months and can vary depending on the company's needs. The position is an office role work opportunity in Mumbai location.
