**Position 1: Pastry Chef - Chef de Partie (CDP)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise the pastry section, ensuring smooth operations during service hours.
- Prepare, bake, and present desserts, pastries, and baked goods to the highest standards.
- Develop and innovate new dessert recipes in collaboration with the Head Chef.
- Manage inventory for the dessert section, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing wastage.
- Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Contribute to menu planning and seasonal dessert offerings.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Pastry CDP or a similar role in a high-end restaurant or bakery.
- Expertise in baking techniques, pastry preparation, and dessert presentation.
- Ability to manage a team and maintain a high-pressure environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Passion for pastry arts and a drive for constant innovation.
- Culinary certification or formal pastry training is preferred.

**Position 2: Pastry Chef - Commis**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Pastry CDP and Head Pastry Chef in daily preparation and production tasks.
- Prepare ingredients, bake pastries, and assemble desserts under guidance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section.
- Follow recipes and instructions with precision to ensure consistency.
- Support the team during service to ensure timely delivery of dishes.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Some experience in pastry or baking, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Familiarity with basic baking techniques and tools.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality desserts.
- Ability to work in a team and take direction from senior chefs.
- Culinary training or certification in baking/pastry is a plus but not required.
