The Neonatal ICU (NICU) Staff Nurse provides direct, high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns in a Level II, III, or IV NICU setting. This role involves monitoring neonatal patients, supporting families, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes for vulnerable infants.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Deliver specialized nursing care to neonates requiring intensive medical attention, including ventilator and incubator support.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Monitor vital signs and clinical status of neonates; promptly report changes to physicians or advanced practice providers.
- Administer medications, fluids, and blood products safely and according to protocols.
- Maintain and troubleshoot NICU equipment such as CPAP, ventilators, pulse oximeters, and infusion pumps.
- Support and educate families, providing emotional support and discharge teaching.
- Participate in neonatal resuscitation and other emergency interventions.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system.
- Adhere to infection control policies, safety guidelines, and clinical protocols.
- Attend and contribute to rounds, staff meetings, training, and continuing education sessions.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- 3 - 8 years of nursing experience in a NICU

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
