Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Department: Medical/Laboratory

Reports to: Doctor and Manager

Basic Function

Conduct technical tasks and laboratory function under supervision using established or project-specific protocols and standard operating procedures. Contributes to laboratory activities and maintenance. Maintains laboratory equipment, supplies, and schedules. Conducts work that follows established protocols and procedures.

Principal Accountabilities

Internal Process Accountabilities

Understands administrative and technical operations, including group structure, and laboratory procedures.

Conducts work on projects; performs setup and maintenance based on established protocols. Documents procedures and data in laboratory notebooks.

Enters and organizes experimental data for reports that may involve evaluations and interpretation of results. Manages being assigned to multiple projects, each with complex technical requirements and different goals.

Must be able to learn laboratory procedures, SOP’s and QA/QC guidelines.

Performs laboratory tasks as assigned.

Performs work in a safe and sterile manner.

Maintains laboratory/facilities in a safe and organized manner, such as biosafety cabinets, housekeeping, equipment maintenance.

Acquires and monitors laboratory supplies.

Safely disposes of biological waste.

Prepares and aliquots solutions and reagents for laboratory needs.

Maintains equipment and ensures it is in working order. Schedules needed repairs and calibrations of lab equipment.

May perform special designated tasks or responsibilities. (I.e., liaison between clinic and laboratory, managing equipment in laboratory, etc.)

Projects a positive, professional image of workplace in business and social interactions.

Reviews and inputs data in a timely manner.

3. Willingness to do additional assigned duties and help with the overall success of the clinic.

Financial Accountabilities

Demonstrates general knowledge and understanding of the nature and operation of the business.

Understand business procedure (e.g., purchasing procedures, lab supply ordering, lab equipment maintenance, etc.).

Success Factors
- Following QA/Safety/SOPs and operating instrumentation.
- Demonstrate general understanding of the nature and operation of Regenexx business.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems.
- Interact with staff at all levels in a team-based environment.
- Expresses ideas in an organized manner; adjusts language and terminology for different audiences.

Minimum Qualifications
- Certification Bachelors in Biological Sciences or a closely related field for over 7-10 years
- Relevant lab experience entails work within a biosafety cabinet, use of a motorized serological pipet-aid, use of micropipettors and the ability to use aseptic technique.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 per month
