**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare samples and instrumentation as needed for testing.
- Aid in the development of unique testing capability to meet project needs.
- Operate test systems involving high temperature/high pressure water environments and high temperature oxidation/corrosion.
- Set up data acquisition systems, collect data and provide preliminary analysis.
- Prepare reports of test data as needed.
- Maintain, repair and replace test equipment as needed.
- Follow all prescribed safety and quality regulations including compliance.
- Promote safety and good housekeeping practices.

**Requirements**:

- Under Graduate Degree in an engineering, technology, science or related discipline in Physics, Chemistry, Metallurgy or Materials.
- Experience in a research environment or industrial laboratory including handling of chemicals is advantageous.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to perform multiple, concurrent tasks.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.

**Desired Skills**:

- Experience operating and/or maintaining high-precision laboratory equipment including high temperature/high pressure lab testing systems.
- Experience with data acquisition systems.
- Experience with metallurgical preparation and characterization techniques
