**Non motor claims management**
- Monitor and analyze the claims ratio, settlement ratio and frequency of claims for effective management of various types of non-motor claims in the zone
- Provide support to team in investigating and managing claims to ensure only genuine claims are processed and closely supervise claims which have large impact on business-in terms of value, criticality or sensitivity.
- Oversee actions taken on all non-motor claims in the zone and review the process to ensure claims are settled in minimum turnaround time (TAT)
- Review files and interact with stakeholders involved to identify the type of claim and extent of liability for BAGIC and accordingly approve the claim or recommend to the superior, as per financial limits ( NHOD-Non motor claims)
- Review, validate and filter the laundry list documents required to ensure processing/ closing of claims
- Enter into a discussion and negotiation with the surveyor and the client in order to obtain his consent and release payment accordingly
- Discuss with superior before accepting liability for complex and High value claims
- **Surveyor management**
- Recommend head office to empanel surveyor, after taking market feedback.
- Appoint appropriate surveyor to carry out survey and assessment of loss, of reported claims**.**:
- Monitor claims assessment and inspection conducted by surveyors in alignment with BAGIC’s claims guidelines and processing of claims in optimum time
- Maintain relationship with surveyors to partner for assessing and managing claim cases effectively
- **Operational review**
- Evaluate initial surveyor reports and based on criticality of the claim or portfolio of the client, recommend to the superior for release of advance/on account payment.
- Participate and stay involved with the surveyor in the entire journey through all stages of assessment in order to reduce turnaround time (TAT) and create a delightful customer experience
- Minimize losses for the company by virtue of accurate predictive assessment
- Provide regular updates to superior (National Head -non motor claims) on status of claims processed, existing claims cases and future strategy to minimize claims losses
- **Relationship management**
- Closely coordinate with the underwriting team, on case to case basis, if required.
- Engage with internal stakeholders such as sales and investigations team
- **Team development**
- Participate in selection process to identify the right talent in the team
- Establish individual performance expectations and regularly review their performance
Identify and create development opportunities for team members to enhance domain knowledge and develop expertise to drive growth in productivity
