**Job Description**:
SOC Lead

Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing 24*7*365 Shift Operations of SOC.
- Must provide expert guidance and oversight of the SOC personnel to ensure optimum system/network security performance and customer satisfaction.
- Able to assess technology gaps and drive technology enhancement initiatives.
- Must be able to make security-related decisions upon the Contractual Requirements and/or Program policies and procedures.
- Must be well versed with Incident Management life cycle.
- Review incidents and upscale incident management team to reduce errors.
- Designing & drafting of SLAs and security reporting
- Must be able to perform following activities:

- Conducts complex security architecture analysis to evaluate and mitigate issues.
- Develop complex technical and programmatic security assessments, evaluates engineering and integration initiatives and provides technical support to assess security policies, standards and guidelines.
- Handling of L3 level technical queries and troubleshooting for security technologies implemented in the program.
- New technology implementation as per client requirement.
- Manages monitoring and reporting of security events of all active devices and customer services implemented.
- Typical daily management activities supported shall include but are not limited to:

- Acting as a bridge between shift operations and higher management
- Provide status information on security incidents to higher management & customer
- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities
- UG: B. Tech / B.E in Electrical Engineering/ Electronic and Communication/ Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering / Network Technology / IT / Computer Science & Engineering
- Shall possess the following certifications: Security+ certification; CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and/or CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional).
- Experience and Industry Background:_
- 5 to 8 Years in SOC Environment (Cyber Security/Security Operations/SOC)
- Must Possess the Technical Skills such as: Security certifications (CISSP, Security+, CCNA, etc.), SIEM, Network anomaly detection, log analysis, IP networking, networking protocols; including encryption, IPSec, PKI, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, access control lists, current and evolving network technologies etc.
- Should have excellent reporting & documentation skills with MS-Word, PPT, Excel.
- Soft Skills / Competencies_
- Extremely focused, attention to details, able to perform individually or in team under pressure
- Analytic, Intuitive able to take initiatives for resolving issues on hand
- Should be an Excellent team player and have leadership quality
- Good Verbal and Written English Communication Skills
- Mature in working approach; process discipline
- Flexible to work in any working hour and ok with 24*7 Environment
