**Job Title**:Cashier - Jewellery Shop**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers with inquiries about jewelry pieces, prices, and promotions.
- Provide product recommendations based on customer preferences and needs.
- Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly and politely.
- **Transaction Handling**:

- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the store’s point of sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment.
- Issue receipts and ensure proper documentation of purchases.
- Verify the identity of customers when needed, especially for high-value items.
- **Inventory and Stock Management**:

- Keep track of jewelry items and ensure that they are displayed in an organized manner.
- Assist in restocking shelves and replenishing displays as needed.
- Report low stock levels or damaged items to the appropriate manager.
- **Sales Support**:

- Meet and exceed sales goals by promoting high-end products, special deals, and loyalty programs.
- Inform customers about store promotions, sales events, or new arrivals.
- **Security and Loss Prevention**:

- Maintain vigilance to prevent theft or fraudulent activity.
- Ensure that high-value items are securely stored and displayed.
- Follow store security procedures for cash handling and inventory.
- **Cash Management**:

- Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Ensure all payments are accurately processed and accounted for.
- **Store Maintenance**:

- Ensure the cashier area is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Assist in maintaining the overall appearance of the store to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (some stores may require additional qualifications).
- Previous experience in retail or customer service, preferably in jewelry or luxury goods.
- Basic math skills and experience with POS systems or cash handling.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle valuable items carefully.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Knowledge of jewelry products, including their types, materials, and features, is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if required.

This role is key to ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience while also maintaining the efficiency and security of the store's operations.
