The organisation has a strong presence in multiple regions across the globe and focuses on delivering high-quality solutions to its customers.Job DescriptionDevelop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of quality materials.Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve cost savings and value addition.Monitor market trends to identify potential sourcing opportunities.Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.Coordinate with internal stakeholders to forecast material requirements.Maintain accurate procurement records and performance metrics.Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process.The Successful ApplicantA successful Site Procurement Lead should have:At least 10-12 years' experience in procurement of MRO Spares, Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Capex Items, Services- preferably from Chemical Industry.Demonstrated expertise in vendor development and negotiationsKnowledge about entire Procure to Pay cycleKnowledge about commercial terms in purchasing, Indirect taxation- GST, Customs duties, import clearance process.Exposure to handling and storage of chemicals including hazardous materialsExperience in contracts negotiations and finalizations, alternate vendors development for annual contracts for services.Awareness about Health, Environment and Safety for procurement related activitiesDemonstrated strong Planning and organizing skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated abilities to work and manage interfaces with other cross functional deptDemonstrated leadership skills to lead a team of people
