EXIM MANAGER

Responsibilities:

Overseeing International Trade Operations: managing the entire process of importing and exporting goods, including planning, coordination and execution Ensuring Compliance: staying up-to-date with and ensuring adherence to all relevant international trade laws, regulations and customs procedures Negotiating Contracts: with suppliers, freight forwarders to secure favourable terms for international shipment Coordinating Shipment: managing the logistics including arranging transportation, customs clearance and delivery Building Relationship: developing and maintaining strong relationship with suppliers, freight forwarders, custom brokers Analysing Market Trends: monitoring market conditions, identifying potential opportunities and developing strategies Managing Budgets: to ensure cost-effectiveness and to identify the cost-saving opportunities Problem Solving: addressing the challenges and issues that arise during the process such as customs delay, documentation errors or shipment disruptions Documentation: preparing and overseeing all necessary import-export documentations

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedure Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management Proficiency in relevant software Experience in Export-Import operations Bachelor’s degree in related field
