Roles and Responsibilities - Choose appropriate legal action to protect the interest of the institution - Manage cost of litigations and proceedings - Create & implement an analytics framework to enhance ability to mitigate and manage litigations, reduce tat for replying to legal notices - Clarifying customer queries raised through notices by replying in time and explaining him the consequences of default - Provide support on any action or issued faced by branch officials with Police, regulatory or statutory authorities - Providing support to Non-collection litigation related issues - Build strong relationship with regulatory, statutory, police, enforcement agencies & vendors - Build capability at branch level to deal with Non - Collection related litigations - Improve ability to manage Non-Collection related litigations - Implement a process management & improvement framework - Ensure adherence to culture with focus on Integrity, Discipline, Teamwork (no silos) &Care - Ensure strong corporate governance, regulatory compliance & adherence to management model - To contest Non-Collection related cases filed against company & to Initiate cases against such persons/entities as deemed appropriate by Head Legal/Management
