Job Description

Manage and oversee all direct and indirect tax compliance processes, international taxation, transfer pricing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimise the organisation's tax position.Monitor changes in tax legislation and ensure the organisation remains compliant with all regulatory requirements.Lead tax audits and liaise with external advisor and tax authorities as needed.Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters.Prepare and review tax returns and related documentation.Collaborate with the finance team to ensure seamless integration of tax strategies with financial planning.Identify and mitigate potential tax risks through proactive measures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Manager Taxation should have:

A strong academic background in accounting, finance, or related fields.Qualified CA with 8-12 years of experience in Big 4 (preferred).Proven expertise in managing both direct and indirect taxation.Familiarity with tax compliance tools and software.Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.Strong knowledge of tax regulations in India and international tax principles.The ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
