- Strong ability to apply patient stabilization techniques for reducing further injury risks during emergencies.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and decision-making skills to prioritize tasks in high-stress situations effectively.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide immediate medical attention and life-saving support in pre-hospital settings.
- Operate emergency vehicles and ensure compliance with regulations and safety protocols during transit.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine the necessary medical interventions.
- Employ patient stabilization techniques and tools to care for injured individuals safely.
- Document medical care provided and patient status accurately using ePCR systems.
- Coordinate with emergency departments and healthcare providers for seamless patient handovers.
- Maintain and check medical equipment and supplies to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
- Participate in continuous learning and training to stay current with medical protocols and procedures.
