Job Description

Lead research in the domain of environmental biotechnology, bioremediation and microbial solutionsResearch in the biotechnological solutions in the industrial domain is a key componentSecure funding through grants and proposalsPublish research papers in peer-reviewed journals and patents in this domainDevelop and implement strategic plans and initiatives in line with the organization's vision.Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.Represent the organization at industry events and conferences.Lead and inspire a high-performing team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Director should have:

Atleast 18+ years of experience in the research domainA strong understanding in the industrial and environmental biotechnology spaceResearch expertise in biosurfactants, oil recovery and microbial bioprocessesExperience in leading large research teams and work on large scale projects.Excellent communication and networking skills.
