Job Description

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer/Designer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You should be able to translate our company needs into functional and appealing interactive applications. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

This is a full time (48 hour per week) position offered for permanent job and you will be based in Kochi where you will be working closely with the Design Team.

We expect you to be a tech-savvy professional, who is curious about new digital technologies and aspires to combine usability with visual design.

Your duties will include (but are not limited to): 

Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pagesMaintain and improve web platforms and appsOptimize applications for maximum speedDesign mobile-based featuresCollaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usabilityGet feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customersWrite functional requirement documents and guidesCreate quality mockups and prototypesHelp back-end developers with coding and troubleshootingEnsure high quality graphic standards and brand consistencyStay up-to-date on emerging technologies

Requirements

Proven work experience as a Front-end developerMinimum 3 years of experience in React JS and Next JsHands on experience with markup languagesExperience with JavaScript, CSS and jQueryFamiliarity with browser testing and debuggingIn-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)Understanding of layout aestheticsKnowledge of SEO principlesFamiliarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop and content management systemsAn ability to perform well in a fast-paced environmentExcellent analytical and multitasking skillsBSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

Bachelor's or master's degree with a concentration in Software Engineering, Computer Applications or relevant field preferred3 or more years of web design experience including planning and managing campaigns in a corporate, or agency setting3-10-year experience, preferably in related field
