Job descriptionAbout the role
The Role Amazon Specialist is extremely crucial in driving sustainable sales growth as Amazon is one of the biggest revenue generators for the company. The Amazon specialist will directly report to the Head of Sales India.
Responsibilities
• Store Listings/Optimization
• Continually optimize the existing brand store, product pages and A+ content to drive traffic and sales for existing and new products
• Partner with brand team to develop messaging and brand assets compliant with brand guidelines and Amazon standards
• Promotion
• Apply PPC best practices for Amazon Sponsored Product ads
• Set up new product promotions for every new product release
• Execute vine and influencer marketing in partnership with content manager
• Assist sales manager with development of product promotion plan
• Develop Amazon marketing strategy in partnership with marketing and sales leadership
• Partner with digital and brand marketing to develop and execute AMS and AMG advertising strategy
• Account Management
• Regularly refresh content for existing products
• Maintain relationships with Amazon buyers
• customer feedback & review generation
• Work closely with internal departments - Sales, Operations, Brand Marketing, as well as Customer Service for feedback and input.
• Create, track, and reconcile shipments to Amazon Fulfilment
• Analytics
• Monitor, analyse and report on performance metrics, sales, marketing performance, and pricing with a regular frequency in order to allocate spend to best performers
• Analyse digital sales performance metrics, modifying plans as needed to deliver against targets
• Report ROI analysis, campaign tracking, web stats, pricing reports, competitive analysis, promotion analysis and new SKU checks on a weekly basis.

• Fix issues with listings wherever required
• Keep ACOS in check
• Managing inventory and placing order for stock as and when necessary
• Management of FBA inventory - Ordering new inventory and ensuring there is no excess inventory in warehouse.
• Checking & maintaining good Account health
• Managing Returns
• Replying to customers messages, complaints, feedbacks & queries
• Maintaining a data base of customers
• Finding new keywords for existing products.
• Running CPC Ads
• Maintaining a data base of well performing key words
• Understanding how Amazons SEO works and update listings accordingly
• Making sales forecast & coordinating with operations
• Checking Amazons policies and ensuing listings are up to date
• Keep updated with Amazon's Algorithm
• Should have good understanding of the product categories & key competitors
• Should overlook the operational side of dispatches.
• Should perform an Audit of all listings on a weekly basis
• Make marketing strategies to increase sales.
• Set up Amazon USA, UK, Canada, Germany & France
• Study the local norms and make changes accordingly
• Should be involved with product research and recommend of which products or categories to enter.
• Coordinate with the content manager & Performance marketing specialist to launch Google and FB ads accordingly.
Skills / Experience required
Primary skill / Experience (Necessary)
Amazon ads
• 1 year + Experience in planning, executing & optimizing Ad campaigns
• Experience in Listing optimization & key word selection
• KPI – Increase sales while keeping ACOS under 20%
• Ability to get amazon's Choice in each product category
• Experience managing and updating the online product catalogue, including setting up new products and promotional items and maintaining product and category pages data analysis, performance trends, etc.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; able to make data-based decisions
• Hands-on and very entrepreneurial mindset to drive results.
• Appreciation and understanding of consumer psychology and its impact on new product adoption.
• Basic understanding of FMCG category
• Understanding of Helium10 & Ad tomic
Secondary Skill / Experience (Optional)
SEM via Google ads
• In depth understanding of Google ad fundamentals such as PPC, CPC, CPA etc.
• Experience in key word selection process after evaluation of search volume, competition & CPC & CPA.
• Experience of running display ads, re-targeting ads, & key word ads.
• Understanding importance of quality score in google ads
FB & Instagram Ads
• Experience in AB testing of creative /content / Placement/ delivery method/ Budget allocation/ timing
• Experience in running retargeting ads, lookalike ads, Conversion ads, engagement ads, Reach ads
• End goal of all ads is sales conversion & customer acquisition, focus should not be on vanity metrics such as likes & followers are of no significance.
SEO
• Understanding of SEO tools like Google Analytics, Webmasters, and others
• Experience in key word selection process after evaluation of search volume, competition
• Experience in On-page & off-page SEO
