JOB DETAILS
We are looking for a highly result-driven and organised individual who has over 7 years of experience in selling SAAS solutions to online publishers across various content verticals like News, Education, Sports, Fashion, Finance and various other emerging content channels. We're looking for a well-rounded individual who has walked the journey of adding long-term and sustainable value for publishers and has a deep-rooted understanding of publishing technologies. Also, should have a track record of building and growing teams.The Role:
• Drive sales growth across the defined Business Unit in Target Market.
• Lead the sales team for the defined Business Unit in Target Market.
• Hunt for publishers (apps and websites) headquartered out of the Target Market.
• Evaluate opportunities with publishers and find the right value fit.
• Negotiate and close agreements.
• Build and manage the sales pipeline in the CRM for the defined Business Unit in the Target Market.
• Stay involved with the journey of key strategic customers and eliminate any roadblocks.
• Represent the company at industry events in Target Market – speaking engagements, networking and sales.
• Provide feedback to product managers on how the product could evolve in the Target Market.
• Work with the central marketing team at Mumbai HQ to localise the marketing for the Target Market.
• Work closely with the executive management team at Mumbai HQ to develop and deploy growth strategies for the Target Market.
What you'll need to be successful:
· Track record of closing high value business deals (over INR 1 Cr per client annually) and achieving annual sales targets.
· Strong rolodex of contacts among digital publishing decision makers in the Target Markets.
· 7+ years of experience doing deals with publishers in digital media.
· Track record of building teams.
· Track record of growing ad tech products.
· Great communication skills – oral and written – in English and Hindi.
· Fluent with Powerpoint to create decks which highlight the value add for the publishers.
· Fluent with Excel to create business models and deal simulations.
· Good analytical skills (i.e.. ability to decipher problems and growth areas from reports).
· Travel across India as and when required to close a deal, kick off new relationships, or for events and conferences.
