Job Title: Turner Location: Trichy Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per Month Experience Required: Minimum 3 Years in Fabrication Field Age Limit: 22 – 45 YearsJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Turner to join our client’s fabrication unit in Trichy. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating lathes and performing precision machining operations on metal components. The role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate conventional lathe machines to manufacture or modify metal parts as per specifications.Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machining operations required.Perform turning operations including facing, taper turning, threading, grooving, and boring.Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Maintain proper machine calibration and tooling for accurate output.Ensure regular maintenance and cleanliness of machines and work area.Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE during operations.Collaborate with supervisors and quality teams to meet production targets and quality standards.Essential Qualifications:ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Turner Trade.Proven work experience of 3+ years in the fabrication or machining industry.Skills Required:Expertise in operating conventional lathe machines.Good understanding of mechanical drawings and machining tolerances.Proficient in using precision measuring instruments.Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality.Ability to troubleshoot minor machine or tooling issues.Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
