Job Summary

:

The Technical Service Analyst is a member of the IS&T Technical Services Team in the Global Infrastructure Operations organization. This team is responsible for supporting application traffic flow, and for controlling inbound/outbound access on the enterprise network.

"This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership”

Major Responsibilities:

The Technical Services Analyst will be responsible for the following duties and activities:

Manage Juniper and Palo Alto firewall policies Manage F5 load balancers (LTM, APM, ASM). Manage Infoblox / IPAM and DHCP server deployment. Work with InfoSec and application teams to ensure successful deployment of applications in compliance with security guidelines and Change Management procedures. Provide recommendation for application connectivity and Bechtel’s network/AD infrastructure- requirements. Provide support for Cloud proxy solution (Zscaler, Global Protect -PA). Provide third level technical support for application traffic flow and Internet access issues. Provide off-hour support based on rotation.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related curriculum with strong communication skills is preferred. 6+ years relevant experience on the mentioned technologies in Job description. Working experience with at least two of the following: load balancers, firewalls, SSL-VPN, Cloud Proxy, Zscaler, Global Protect (PA). Ability to analyze connectivity and application problems to find solutions. Ability to adapt to new technologies and complex infrastructures. Ability to coordinate tasks with inter-disciplinary teams.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Experience in configuring/troubleshooting gateway technologies including SSL-VPN, load balancers, firewalls, and proxy servers. Knowledge of Cloud Proxy Solution (Zscaler, Global Protect, Netskope). Knowledge of Infoblox IPAM Management. Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, CP/IP, Ethernet, routing and networking protocols. Knowledge of HTTP traffic and SSL standards. Experience in using network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark and Fiddler. Juniper, Cisco, and Microsoft certifications in related technologies are a plus. Experience in scripting/automation is not a requirement, but strongly desired. Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure & Networking (preferably Azure).
