JOB DETAILS One of our clients, a reputed pharamaceutical manufacturing company is looking out for an Industrial Hygiene Specialist for their factory based in Mumbai. The IHS is expected to be knowledgeable and have experience of implementing pharmaceutical control technologies within API manufacturing, sterile injectable and solid oral dose and laboratory operations. The main job responsibilities would be 1. the management and improvement of the Site Industrial Hygiene program, 2. to meet regulatory compliance obligations and conformance with Global EHS Standards. Due to the size and complexity of the site the Industrial Hygienist will also have the opportunity to develop systems to control a variety of workplace hazards, for example potent compounds (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API)) chemicals, and ionizing and non-ionizing radiation sources using traditional hierarchy of control approaches such as ventilation systems, noise control, work practices and personal protective equipment.
