What you’ll do at Insight

Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights. Develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems and improve decision-making. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their strategic objectives and identify opportunities to leverage data and deliver data-driven solutions. Create detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Provide support for data-related issues, and mentor junior data scientists in the team. Define and manage data governance policies to ensure data quality and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with data architects, data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to design data solutions that meet business requirements. Coordinate with users to understand data needs and delivery of data with a focus on data quality, data reuse, consistency, security, and regulatory compliance. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve data science processes and outcomes.

What you’ll need to join Insight

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field 5+ years of experience in data science with 1+ years hands on experience using Azure Machine Learning, and / or Azure OpenAI. Advanced Programming: Mastery of programming languages like Python, along with AI-centric libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras. Implement and manipulate complex algorithms fundamental to developing generative AI models. Generative Models: Expertise developing solutions using generative AI services like Azure Open AI, Gemini and Amazon Bedrock. Natural Language Processing (NLP): Familiarity with techniques for text parsing, sentiment analysis, and using transformers like GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) models. . Proficiency in data manipulation programming languages such as Python, Pyspark and Spark SQL. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make data-driven decisions. Extensive experience working with large data sets with hands-on technology skills to design and build robust data architectures. Ability to effectively communicate through presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.

Other desirable skills and experience

A Ph.D. in a related field is a plus. 1+ years of experience building Power BI models and visualizations with solid understanding of DAX and Power BI visualization techniques. Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or similar. Agile development environment experience applying DEVOPS along with data quality and governance principles. Good leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel Ability to contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to Architecture or new technologies and mentoring junior employees and being ready to shoulder ad-hoc. Experience with cross-team collaboration, interpersonal skills/relationship building
