SOLUTION ARCHITECT(DATA SCIENTIST/AI ENGINEER) - CONTRACT - 12 MONTHS + - JAN START - HYBRID 3DAYS A WEEK ONSITE IN MUMBAI/CHENNAI Are you passionate about building scalable AI solutions that transform industrial operations? We're looking for a Senior Data Science & AI Engineer (Solution Architect) to design and deliver cutting-edge data-driven systems across multiple business divisions. In this role, you will lead solution architecture for initiatives spanning Generative AI, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Statistical Modelling-working at the intersection of data engineering, AI, and cloud integration. What You'll Do End-to-End Solution Design: Architect and implement robust data & ML pipelines (Python, SQL, Spark) across ingestion, transformation, and deployment layers using Azure Databricks and related tools. AI/ML Implementation: Build, train, and deploy models for predictive maintenance, process optimization, and quality control. MLOps & Automation: Develop automated workflows for retraining, versioning, and performance tracking using MLflow or similar frameworks. Data Integration: Work with diverse data sources (IoT sensors, SAP APIs, MSSQL, Vision Inspection) to ensure scalability and reliability. Infrastructure & Systems: Optimize compute environments (Linux/Ubuntu/WSL2), manage CI/CD pipelines, and maintain Python virtual environments. API & Visualization: Build FastAPI-based backends and integrate with PowerBI or custom dashboards for actionable insights. Governance & Documentation: Create architecture diagrams, ML approach notes, and collaborate on InfoSec compliance. Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and interns on best practices in coding, data validation, and deployment hygiene. What They're Looking For Strong experience in Python, SQL, Spark, and cloud-based ML platforms (Azure Databricks, ML Studio). Hands-on expertise in Computer Vision (YOLO models), Generative AI, and traditional ML techniques. Familiarity with industrial IoT, SAP integration, and enterprise data systems. Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, and API development (FastAPI). Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ready to make an impact?
