About Our Client

Our client invests, develops, operates and manages renewable energy assets consisting of Solar, Wind, Battery Energy Storage.

Job Description

Key responsibility will be the ownership of all Engineering & Design deliverables that includes drawings, equipment selection, design optimization, due diligence on M&A, financing transactions.

Lead the Electrical design and engineering of renewable energy projects.Ensure projects are compliant with industry and regulatory standards.Leading the Engineering team for technical feasibilities, EYA Analysis as part of the bidding & financing support.Leading & guiding the team to design Large & Extra-large size of Solar System and related Engineering with various types of Solar Modules, Inverters & Other BoS equipment for varying site conditions & regulatory requirements.Guiding the team for preparations of technical specifications for Solar Modules, Inverters, Electrical Equipment, Module Mounting Structure, Other BoS equipment, Site Civil requirements & other regulatory requirementsTechnical understanding to monitor the System sizing, Design calculations, technical evaluation, Preparation of Inspection procedure, User manual, DPR, Design aspects of all BoS Equipment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.Provide technical expertise and guidance on energy projects.Develop strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Oversee the preparation of engineering documents and reports.Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in the field of renewable energy engineering.

The Successful Applicant

in Electrical Engineering12-18 years of overall experience with >6 years in the Renewable Energy Industry (preferably Solar)Must have end-to-end PV Engineering/Design experienceWell versed with EYA analysis thru PV-SYST reports for Solar applicationsExposure on System Studies: E-Tap, Staad Pro etc.Cable Engineering Software: ATHENA/Cable Pull PlannerEngineering drawings: PDMS/ PDS/AutoCAD and Micro-StationMS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), Lotus Notes and Internet Applications
