Responsible for designing of Gas Turbine Combustion and casingcomponents (e.g., combustion liner, nozzles, transition duct, fuel pipingsystem, exit diffusers, casing etc.) to meet full spectrum of designrequirements (functionality, robustness, cost effectiveness, manufacturingrequirements and technology, assembly requirements and service requirements) Applies appropriate methods which focus on robust design, liketolerance stack up, GD&T, analysis, standards, and design rules. Create and finalize the design concept working closely with FEAanalyst, HT engineer, Aero-designer to do the design changes from conceptualdesign to final product design. Technical checking of Engineering drawings/PMI and BOM of GasTurbine components. Development of innovative design solutions. Controls risk ofdesign changes with appropriate methods like FMEA, QFD. Creates, evaluates, reviews technical documents, e.g. purchasingspecification, working specification, check lists, standard part calculations. Execute/support technical reviews, risk assessments,serviceability, and fault report considerations. Explore cost reduction opportunities.

Bachelor, master’s or PHDin mechanical engineering/design from recognized college/university

• At least 6 years of work experience with mechanical designexposure in an engineering organization.

Experience in Gas Turbine combustion component will be preferred.

• Basic Knowledge of mechanical design, strength of material,thermodynamics, heat transfer.

• Desirable to have of knowledge of Gas turbine combustionprinciples, thermo-acoustics, aero-design principles, emissions etc.

• Basic mechanical integrity knowledge with ability to performsimple hand calculations.

•Working experience to apply GD&T and tolerance stack up.

•Sound knowledge of manufacturing/assembly/fabrication processes

•Exposure to CAD software (UG-NX preferred), SAP, PLM, CPDTeamcenter, MS Office.

•Good communication skill in English language (Verbal &Written).

•Strong inter-personal skills i.e., team player, quick learner,imaginative, innovative etc.
