Requirements

You will be part of our rapidly growing SAP Commerce practice helping to shape and deliver the right outcomes for our clients. As a Front-End Technical Lead at Tryzens, this individual is responsible for developing and overseeing the front-end development of eCommerce projects (SAP Commerce), specifically focused on using the latest technologies and practices to ensure the delivery of themes and packages of the highest quality.

The core responsibilities are:

Development of client solutions

  • Participate in the discovery phase and provide an estimation of the business requirements.
  • Planning and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project execution as per technical and functional specifications.
  • Design, Develop and modify user-facing features for SAP Commerce.
  • Interact with the business and other technology teams.
  • Work closely with UX and design team to ensure the technical feasibility of designs while maintaining a user-centric focus.
  • Participating in and leading unit testing and code-review sessions to identify potential project bottlenecks and suggest solutions.
  • Engagement in technical design discussions, requirement analysis, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance of SAP Commerce and associated software applications.
  • Providing hands-on support in Front End software/application architecture, development, design, independent analysis, and problem resolution.
  • Communicating with client business to fully understand client expectations.
  • Ensure that features are being delivered efficiently and on-time.
  • Effectively troubleshoot production issues.
  • Follow the latest advancements in front end technologies and techniques.
  • Continue to expand knowledge of new technologies, as well as strengthen the current knowledge base.
  • Train and integrate new team members and proactively support the continued development of existing team members.
  • Build and promote a positive working environment for the team.
  • Effectively work with team members in line with company policy and procedures, including performance, development, disciplinary and conflict resolution with effective feedback.
  • Excellent communication skills

Commercial

  • Supporting Presales during the development of new business with new or existing clients.

General

  • Participate in recruitment activities where necessary.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills, with a fantastic can-do attitude.
  • Self-driven, with an aptitude to learn and keep up with the latest Front-End Technologies.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience developing on the Angular framework including:
  1. Strong in building rich client experiences (Web/Mobile and desktop)
  2. Ability to hand-code, adhering to HTML standards
  3. Extensive experience with responsive development and Angular framework
  4. Extensive knowledge of HTML, Stylesheets (CSS3, LESS, SASS), ES6 + Javascript, Vanila JS, and Cross-browser development (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome)
  5. Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks – Angular.
  6. Proven ability to work effectively with team members as well as various stakeholders within the company.
  7. Proficient in using version control (GIT), JIRA, Web Developer Tools (e.g. Chrome, Firebug), UI tools (e.g. Zeplin, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator)
  8. Familiar with Confluence, MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
  9. Overall, 7 to 12 plus years of IT experience.

Desirable Experience & Knowledge

  • General experience working with e-commerce systems is a plus
  • Experience with SAP Commerce and Spartacus Framework (Angular)
  • Experience with bootstrap, foundation, or other frameworks
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge of frontend optimization technologies
  • Experience with Front End testing methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks – React
  • Proficiency in NodeJS microservices
  • Exposure or experience with Microsoft Azure
