DRONE DESIGNER- AERONAUTICAL ENG. Urgent Hiring  Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineer – Drone Design and Development Engineer Location: IMT Faridabad Employment Type: Full-time Department: Design& Development / Engineering Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and innovative Drone Design and Development Engineerwith a background in aerospace or aeronautical engineering. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and improving drone platforms for various applications. You will work across interdisciplinary teams to deliver reliable and high-performance UAV systems. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop drone hardware including airframes and structural components. Create 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD tools (e.g., Fusion , SolidWorks). Implement mechanical assembly designs and integrate sensors and payloads based on mission requirements. Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct lab and field testing to validate performance and reliability. Analyse flight data and identify root causes of technical issues. Troubleshoot hardware and software integration challenges. Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, mechanical designers, product managers, and QA teams. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for prototyping and production components. Innovation and Improvement: Keep updates of the latest trends and advancements in UAV technology. Continuously optimize drone designs for weight, aerodynamics, efficiency, and safety. Contribute to the development of new features, mission capabilities, and product improvements. Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation including design specs, testing protocols, and compliance reports. Support the type certification process and ensure regulatory documentation is up to date. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in drone design and development. Proven experience in hardware and software integration for UAVs. CAD proficiency in Fusion , SolidWorks, or equivalent. CAE/FEA experience using tools like ANSYS or equivalent. Technical Skills: Strong foundation in aerodynamics, propulsion systems, and material science. Experience in integrating and configuring sensors such as GPS, IMU, LiDAR, and cameras. Hands-on experience with 3D printing, rapid prototyping, and testing. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Organized and capable of managing multiple projects with tight deadlines. Preferred (Not Mandatory): Experience working on military-grade or commercial UAV platforms. Familiarity with type certification standards and DGCA regulations.
