Roles and Responsibilities Enhance and strengthen the credit lending framework including credit policy & risk controls that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success Ensuring Drafting, Recommendation, Approval and Administering the Policies Recommend and follow through on policy changes, wherever required in order to improve the portfolio quality and the quality of application sourcing Ensure credit policies and program risk acceptance criteria are reviewed regularly, with timely updates for proactive adaptation to changes in legal /regulatory requirements, business strategies, market environment or portfolio performance Identify macroeconomic trends and insights to help improve credit underwriting Implement control procedures and system Administering & monitoring Portfolio data and related MIS Administering, Reviewing and modifying or if needed, revamping the Scorecards Setup processes and operational capability for proactive NPA prevention Closely working with Stakeholders: Product, Collections, FCU, Credit and Operations Having appropriate Industry knowledge and develop contacts with peers in Banks/NBFCs. Develop a rapport with the risk managers of other Fintechs, banks and NBFCs and initiate concerted market action on fraudsters wherever required
