Job Title: Welder

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our client’s fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing welding tasks with precision and quality using various techniques and tools. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.

Perform welding using various processes such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding based on project requirements.

Set up and operate welding machines and tools safely and efficiently.

Measure and align components using measuring tools and jigs before welding.

Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.

Inspect and ensure quality of welded components using appropriate testing tools.

Collaborate with fitters, fabricators, and supervisors to complete assigned tasks.

Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area and equipment.

Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures strictly.

Essential Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in Welding, Fabrication, or relevant technical trade.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on welding experience in fabrication industries.

Skills Required:

Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.

Knowledge of materials (mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.).

Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding codes.

Good understanding of welding safety standards and procedures.

Physical stamina and hand-eye coordination.

Team player with good communication and time management skills.
