-Work within the sustainability sector with a global organization.-A dynamic work environment alongside global stakeholders.About Our ClientThe organisation is an international non-profit dedicated to sustainability and systemic change, partnering with businesses, governments, and civil society to promote a just, regenerative future by focusing on food, energy, and business purpose while empowering systemic action.Job DescriptionPrepare and manage monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Develop and oversee budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.Analyse financial performance and trends, identifying areas for improvement.Collaborate with various departments to optimise cost management and resource allocation.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as required.Provide detailed financial reporting to assist with strategic planning and decision-making.Utilise accounting systems effectively to streamline processes and improve efficiency.The Successful ApplicantA successful Management Accountant should have:A recognised professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, or an MBA (Finance).Minimum of 5 years of experience post-qualification (prior experience with a not-for-profit is highly desired and preferred).Prepare detailed management accounts, variance analysis, month-end adjustments, and support financial reporting with actionable insights for senior management.Lead compliance with tax laws and accounting standards, including India-specific tax and accounting, and assist with tax returns and year-end accounts.Maintain fixed asset registers, support ERP system alignment, implement internal controls, and identify process improvements.Provide strategic support for business planning, cost-saving initiatives, and communicate financial information clearly to non-finance teams.
